Valentines Day at the Madeira was a memorable occasion for one couple who had booked a romantic weekend break. They arrived on Friday to find chocolates in their room! On Saturday after a full English breakfast they spent most of the day at Cadbury World, (always worth a visit) then on to a local restaurant for a c
andlelit meal. Valentines day was also the start of the Chinese New Year and they took the short trip to the City Centre where The Year of the Tiger was being celebrated at the Arcadian centre with a spectacular 4 hour festival.
Stella (the proprietor) presented another couple with a white, heart-shaped cake that she had made and decorated especially for them. Who said romance was dead?
