So many big acts are appearing in Birmingham in the coming months, too many to list all the details! So I’ve picked out a few and all you need to do is click on the name for more info. Amongst the acts are: Alice Cooper, The Darkness, Bowling For Soup, Will Young, Brian Wilson, A Question of Sport Live, Britney Spears, Sir Cliff Richard, Dolly Parton and Status Quo. The Transport Museum
About 15 minutes from The Madeira, and set in the wonderful countryside of Wythall is The Transport Museum. This is a wonderful day out for the whole family. For the parents, a chance to see some of the ‘buses that they used to travel on, for the youngsters there is a play area, a miniature steam railway and the opportunity to see just how much public transport has evolved in such a relatively small period of time. Did you know that a double decker bus can tilt to an angle of 38 degrees! More facts and figures plus classic bus rides, a look at the restoration of vehicles, miniature steam railway, refreshments in the cafeteria and memorabilia from the gift shop all await you at The Transport Museum. Entrance fee starts from £3.00 per adult and £1.50 per child and special family tickets are availabe. Click on the link to see for yourself what’s on offer.
